Frequently Asked Questions

What  kind of sessions/services do you offer?  I specialize in a lifestyle or documentary type of photography with natural lighting. I offer sessions for aspiring models, clothing lines, as well as headshots or other portraits, boudoir, engagements and anniversaries, maternity sessions, newborns, and even birth coverage. 

Do you have a studio?  Since my clients do not usually require it, I found its best to rent studio space based on each client. If you want your session done in a studio setting, and addition studio costs would be on top of your session fee. 

How do I book my session? Book your consultation and session any time by contacting me by email, phone, or through social media! Contact information can be found under the "Contact" tab. Once we know when and where your session will take place, you can pay your session fee and book your session here.

                                                                                    

What area do you cover?  I primarily photograph models and families in the Denver area. With that being said, I can travel anywhere, for almost any session. All travel within 5 miles of my 80204  location is free of charge. For birth photography, I normally travel up to 20 minutes outside of my location.

Do you charge for travel?  Yes, although travel expenses are included in all sessions for up to 5 miles of my location and up to $5.00 for any parking fees, If you would like a location that is a bit of a drive, a fee of $0.50 per mile does apply to your total due. There is no travel charge for any Birth sessions. 

What is your turn around time?  Usually 7-10 days. Depending on the time of year, this may be shorter or longer.

 

How many images will I receive? It depends!  For each session, a certain amount of images are included in your package. However,  you may purchase more or all of your photos! Check under the 'Pricing' tab to find out how many images are included in each Collection. If you are a Birth client, you will receive access all of your most precious photos.

 

How much do you charge for extra images?  Each additional image costs $10.00.

What is your availability like?  I am usually very flexible with date and times for consultations and sessions; including during the weekday. Though, like many photographers, I work primarily on the weekends so my slots fill up quickly. 

  

When should I book my session?  I can book sessions up to 6 months in advance, though most clients book around 2-4 weeks in advance. With maternity sessions, every woman is different and every pregnancy is different, so book your session whenever you feel most comfortable. What I usually tell women is that you want your bump to be big and beautifully round, but not so big that you are uncomfortable. My recommendation is to book your session to take place between 30 and 37 weeks. If you are curious as to when you should book your birth with me, the earlier the better, but no later than 30 weeks gestation.

Do you have props?  I do not use props for most of my sessions. However, I do normally have a blanket for outdoor sessions and a stool for headshots.  Of course, you are always welcome to bring along anything you would like photographed. 

How will I receive my images?  All clients will receive an email when their photos are ready. This email will have a link to a gallery of your images, as well as instructions on how to choose your images. 

Can I print my images myself?  Yes! As stated in my contract, we share client/photographer rights. As a client you will have unlimited, however non-exclusive, rights to your images. You may print them, or do with them whatever you wish! If you should find your self needing a print release, I will be sure to get one to you!
